The strategic relationship between schools and society in the collaborative mental health education of college students significantly impacts the effectiveness of mental health education. This paper, grounded in ecosystem and social system theories, constructs a model of the evolutionary game between schools and society, both with and without government incentives. It analyzes the key factors influencing the stability of the cooperative evolution between schools and society and further explores the impact of these factors on the strategies of both parties through numerical simulations. The study reveals: (1) The initial willingness to cooperate between schools and society is crucial for the speed and final level of cooperative evolution; higher initial willingness can significantly accelerate the achievement of cooperation; (2) Increased additional benefits and the introduction of government incentives can effectively boost the willingness to cooperate between schools and society, accelerating the realization of collaborative efforts; (3) The rising cost of social resources can inhibit cooperation willingness, while the greater the loss from non-openness of resources by society, the more likely they are to choose cooperative strategies. This research provides theoretical support and decision-making references for optimizing the collaborative mental health education mechanism between schools and society, contributing to the high-quality development of college students' mental health education.
