With the continuous advancement of comfort-oriented healthcare, procedural sedation has been widely adopted in clinical practice. As a newer benzodiazepine introduced in recent years, remimazolam has demonstrated unique advantages in the field of procedural sedation. This article explores the pharmacologic properties of remimazolam and its clinical applications in procedural sedation, aiming to provide comprehensive guidance for rational clinical use and advance the drug's development in relevant fields.
