About this Research Topic
Recently, there has been an integration of micro-/nanorobots with AI technology to enhance their perception, prediction, and functional capabilities. The micro-/nanorobots are becoming more intelligent in order to perform sophisticated tasks under supervision. They are expected not only to bring great benefits to patients but also be great coordinators to the doctors who are always under high pressure to make critical decisions.
In this Research Topic, we want to bring together academics and experts to share their experimental and cutting-edge research findings as well as suggestions for novel micro-/nanorobotic systems for healthcare applications. Manuscripts should cover but are not limited to:
- Design and fabrication of micro-/nanorobots
- New material for micro-/nanorobots
- Micro-/nanorobots manipulation
- Micro-/nanorobots localization
- AI technology for micro-/nanorobots system
- Deep learning techniques in micro-/nanorobots imaging systems
- Deep learning techniques for micro-/nanorobots perceptions
This Research Topic welcomes original research and review articles on the above themes.
Keywords: microrobot, nanorobot, micro- and nanorobot system, magnetic navigation system, electromagnetic control, microrobot localization, nanorobot localization, minimally invasive surgery, artificial intelligence (AI), deep learning
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
