Dear Editor,I hope this message finds you well.I am writing to request a modification regarding the funding acknowledgment section of our previously published paper titled "Third generation sequencing transforms the way of the screening and diagnosis of thalassemia: a mini-review" in Frontiers in Pediatrics, which was published on July 06, 2023 (doi: 10.3389/fped.2023.1199609). Upon reviewing the final version of the article, we have identified an error in the order of the funds listed. The current order of the funds do not accurately reflect the primary sources of support for the research. Specifically, the Guangxi Major Research Programme (AB22035013 to BG) should be listed first, followed by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (82001531 and 81860272 to BG), and so on. The correct order of the funds are crucial for proper attribution and compliance with the funding agencies' requirements. We understand that this may require some administrative effort on your part, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this request may cause. However, we believe that this correction is necessary to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our publication. We kindly request that the funding acknowledgment section be updated as above. We would greatly appreciate your assistance in making this change. Please let us know if there are any additional steps we need to take or if you require any further information from us.Thank you very much for your attention to this matter. We look forward to your prompt response.
