Low profile covered stents in CHD: the role of GORE Viabahn (VBX) stents

The Gore Viabahn covered stent, approved for the treatment of peripheral arterial disease in femoral/iliac artery lesions may present advantageous features in the field of congenital heart diseases. There are only very few cases in literature reporting the off-label use of these stents. Here we report on four cases where the use of Gore Viahaban stents was successful in various substrates.
