Status, Treatment, and Management of Diabetic Foot Ulcers

One of the major complications of diabetes mellitus is diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs), with an annual worldwide incidence of 6.3%. DFUs are difficult to heal, and some patients with severe DFUs must resort to amputation. Additionally, even when ulcers do heal there is a high risk of recurrence. It is therefore crucial to track trends in the development of DFUs, identify more effective treatments, and determine the prognosis and wound management of sugar DFUs，

The goal of this Research Topic is to update the latest information related to patients with DFUS. Specific themes of interest include but are not limited to:
