A Corrigendum on
Alaska Volcano Observatory Alert and Forecasting Timeliness: 1989–2017

by Cameron, C. E., Prejean, S. G., Coombs, M. L., Wallace, K. L., Power, J. A., and Roman, D. C. (2018). Front. Earth Sci. 6:86. doi: 10.3389/feart.2018.00086

In the original article, there was a mistake in Figure 9 as published. The labels for the “Detect Only” and “Missed” pie slices for the “Not Monitored; Repose <15 yrs” pie were switched. The corrected Figure 9 appears below. The authors apologize for this error and state that this does not change the scientific conclusions of the article in any way.

Figure 9. Four pie charts, showing event-notification classes for eruptions, based on seismically monitored/unmonitored status and repose less than or greater than 15 years. Number of eruptions and percentage of the pie are shown in each slice. For the lower right pie chart, showing those eruptions with both seismic monitoring and repose times longer than 15 years, Kanaga 2012 (the single not-forecast event) is the only phreatic eruption of this group.
