Regional innovation ecosystems are important for promoting national innovation development. How to continuously promote synergistic innovation cooperation among multiple actors in the regional innovation ecosystem under digitalization conditions and enhance the sustainable development of the system needs to be urgently addressed. Based on the evolutionary game theory, this paper constructs a tripartite evolutionary game model of core enterprises, complementary parties and government in the regional innovation ecosystem. It also takes Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park as an example for simulation to explore the dynamic decision-making process and key factors of collaborative innovation behaviors among the tripartite subjects. The results showed that: (1) Increasing the digitalization input intensity of innovation agents can promote the stability and sustainability of the regional innovation ecosystem. (2) In the context of digitalization, core enterprises stimulate the realization of co-innovation cooperation models by applying incentives to complementary parties. (3) In the evolution of digital regional innovation ecosystems, innovation subjects have significant positive spillover effects, which promote the circulation and complementary of digital resources and data elements among subjects. (4) The government's subsidies and penalties are positively correlated with the stability of the regional innovation ecosystem under digitalization, while accelerating the convergence speed of the innovation ecosystem. Based on the digital perspective, this study further enriches the theory of regional innovation ecosystem. This paper provides a theoretical basis for local governments to deepen the reform of the synergistic mechanism of the digital innovation ecosystem of innovation subjects. At the same time, it provides a reference for promoting the in-depth development of regional innovation ecosystems under digitalization conditions.
