This research is based on a bibliometric analysis of publications on mathematics anxiety in primary school. The research aims to examine trends and topics between 1979 and 2024 based on journals, influential authors, institutions, and productive countries. Data were collected using both WOS and Scopus databases. The RStudio program and Biblioshiny tool were used in the analysis process. The research process consisted of study design, data collection, data analysis, data visualization, and data interpretation. In total, 404 articles published between 1979 and 2024 were analyzed. The results of the analyses show that the research on mathematics anxiety initially showed a stagnant development but has gained significant momentum, especially recently. The bibliometric data reveals an interdisciplinary approach to addressing mathematics anxiety in primary school, with analysis taking place in both psychological and educational contexts. Furthermore, this field of study has broadened its perspective, delving deeper into the effects of individual differences, cognitive processes, and social factors on learning.
