Values, Intercultural Sensitivity, and Uncertainty Management: A Cross-cultural Investigation of Motivational Profiles

This study explored how personal values interact with intercultural sensitivity and intolerance of uncertainty (IU) to form distinct motivational orientations across cultures. Using latent profile analysis, we identified five value configurations in South Korean undergraduates (N = 517) and four in U.S. undergraduates (N = 431) based on responses to the PVQ-RR, Intercultural Sensitivity Scale, and IUS-12.
