Frontiers in Chemistry are proud to present this collection of Mini Reviews and Perspectives entitled “Advancements in Analytical Chemistry”. The Analytical Chemistry section publishes high-impact research on innovative analytical and bioanalytical chemistry methods, emphasizing advancements that address critical challenges in areas such as biomedicine, environment, forensics, and diagnostics. Led by Dr. Serge Cosnier and Dr. Huangxian Ju, the section welcomes studies spanning analytical methodologies, omics techniques, instrumentation, imaging, point-of-care diagnostics, sensors, and computational analysis, particularly those demonstrated with real samples and supporting key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This Research Topic aims to spotlight recent developments in analytical chemistry, aiming to foster discussion and further inquiry within the community. It seeks to highlight both contemporary advancements and imaginative pathways for future research in the field. The overarching goal is to encourage dialogue, enhance understanding, and propel future studies in unexplored areas.
Keywords: Analytical Chemistry
Important note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
