presents an empirical study employing latent profile analysis (LPA) to explore heterogeneity in medical students' learning engagement and achievement motivation, with career calling as a key predictor. While the manuscript makes a valuable contribution through its use of latent profile analysis to identify distinct medical student subgroups, key improvements would strengthen the work by deepening theoretical interpretation in the Discussion by explicitly linking profiles to Covington's typology and discussing non-linear career calling effects, and restructure the Conclusion to directly address each research objective. Careful proofreading for language clarity and expanded limitations would further enhance readiness for publication. Attach, I detail limitations and recommendations for improvement.Thank you for your suggestions. We have revised and embellished the language of the article.
