Frontiers forms publishing agreement with Max Planck Society

We are delighted to inform you that Max Planck Society holds a Central Invoicing agreement with Frontiers. Max Planck Society will be covering Article Publishing Fees, for corresponding authors affiliated to MPS, in any of the Frontiers journals. Frontiers and University College London continue open-access agreement

Frontiers is pleased to announce the continuation of its open-access publishing agreement with University College London (UCL). Swiss open-access publisher and research network, Frontiers is pleased to announce the continuation of its open-access publishing agreement with University College London (UCL). Since September last year, almost 100 authors affiliated with UCL have benefited from this publishing agreement, which enables researchers to publish their work in the “Frontiers in” journal series, with UCL covering the article publishing fees. “Results from publicly funded research should be accessible to everyone. That is why UCL is pleased to team up with Frontiers and other high-quality open-access publishers to enable our scientists to make their research freely available. Our renewed agreement is a great step forward, especially as 2014 is the Year of Open Access in the UK,” says Paul Ayris, Director of Library Services, UCL. “We are delighted to collaborate with UCL to enable their world-class researchers to publish in the open-access “Frontiers in” journals’,” says Kamila Markram, Founder and CEO of Frontiers. “With Frontiers’ unique publishing model, authors can boost the reach and impact of their research by making it widely accessible.” UCL joins a growing number of institutions that support authors to publish with […]

Frontiers forms publishing agreement with Göttingen University

We are delighted to inform you that Göttingen University holds a central invoicing agreement with Frontiers. Göttingen University (partially) covers Article Publishing Charges (APCs), for corresponding authors affiliated with the University, for articles in any of the Frontiers journals via an Open Access Publication Fund. Göttingen State and University Library (SUB Göttingen) is the administrator of this Fund. For further details and whether you qualify for support from the Fund, please visit the Library’s webpages on Open Access and the Open Access Publication Fund (Publikationsfonds) or contact Ms Sabine Witt witt@sub.uni-goettingen.de. To find out more about the University’s Open Access policy clear here. Update: From 2020, the Publication Fund of the University of Göttingen may finance APCs for publishing in Frontiers journals only partially. Corresponding authors affiliated with the University of Göttingen (including Medical Center) are adviced to inform themselves about the conditions in advance.

Frontiers forms publishing agreement with University College London

We are delighted to inform you that University College London is in a pre-payment agreement with Frontiers UCL is able to cover open access fees for authors publishing in Frontiers journals, provided that certain eligibility criteria are met. Eligible papers include: Research articles and uninvited review articles acknowledging UCL-held UKRI (UK Research Councils) or Wellcome Trust funding. Unfunded original research articles and uninvited review articles with a UCL-affiliated corresponding author. The corresponding author must be a full member of staff or research student at UCL. Information for authors: To submit your article under this institutional agreement, please select ‘University College London’ as institutional payer in the invoice section when submitting your article. Frontiers will then verify your eligibility with the UCL Open Access Team, and if confirmed to be eligible according to the eligibility criteria, the APC will be paid by UCL upon acceptance.
