About this Research Topic
This Research Topic intends to publish Original Research and Review articles in organic optoelectronic materials describing experimental and theoretical results. The Research Topic will not only contain fundamental research and concept in the aspects of synthesis methods, material characterization, morphology, surface and interfacial characteristics, charge and energy transfer and micromechanism, excited state structure and ultrafast dynamic process but also pay attention to the practical applications in organic light-emitting diodes, organic field-effect transistors, organic solar cells, organic storage and all optical switch. Themes of interest include:
• Various concepts of organic optoelectronic materials (organic light-emitting diodes, organic field-effect transistors, organic solar cells)
• Synthesis, characterizations, and applications of organic optoelectronic materials
• Optical, electrical, structural properties of materials
• Spectra, photo-induced charge and energy transfer as well as charge transport
• Surface and interfacial characteristics
• Theoretical simulation for structure-properties relationship
• Low-cost applications methods for science and industrialization
• Excited state nonlinear optics and ultra-fast dynamics
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
