Celebrating 3 Years of Frontiers in Soft Matter

This Research Topic is a celebration of the 3 year anniversary of Frontiers in Soft Matter (in October 2024).

Led by Field Chief Editor, Prof. Raffaele Mezzenga, Frontiers in Soft Matter serves as a Gold Open Access multidisciplinary journal, aiming to disseminate high-quality research covering the entire field of soft matter (including contributions from diverse areas such as physics, chemistry, biology, material science, engineering and nanotechnology).

The goal of this Research Topic is to reflect on the past two years, showcase ongoing cutting-edge research and novel developments, and discover new insights and outlook on the future of the field as a whole.

Authors are encouraged to consider the greatest challenges in their respective sub-disciplines, and how to address those challenges within:
