The specialty section 'Nutrition and Food Science Technology' in our open-access journal Frontiers in Nutrition is looking to publish original research findings, breakthrough technology development, as well as innovative and practical applications in food and nutrition that will advance the understanding of human food intake, metabolism and health. It seeks to publish papers that use integrated approaches from multidisciplinary sciences including, but not limited to nutrition sciences, food science and technologies. Of particular interest are new research approaches, concepts and technologies along the entire food chain in addition to consumer food intake and acceptance, food regulation and metabolism, and food and dietary impact on human health and behavior.

Nutrition and Food Science Technology welcomes submissions of the following article types: Conceptual Analysis, Correction, Data Report, Editorial, General Commentary, Hypothesis and Theory, Methods, Mini Review, Opinion, Original Research, Perspective, Review, Specialty Grand Challenge and Technology and Code.
All manuscripts must be submitted directly to the section Nutrition and Food Science Technology, where they are peer-reviewed by the Associate and Review Editors of the specialty section.
