University of Sao Francisco forms publishing agreement with Frontiers

University of Sao Francisco has formed an institutional membership agreement for open access publishing with Frontiers.   This institutional agreement means that eligible University of Sao Francisco researchers may publish in any Frontiers journal at no cost to them and with a simplified process.  Articles may benefit from a 5% membership discount.   The university library University of Sao Francisco supports its researchers in making their research more widely available. This agreement will further encourage University of Sao Francisco researchers to publish open access, increasing the volume of research openly available. University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover (TiHo) and Frontiers form open access publishing agreement

University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover (TiHo) has formed an institutional membership agreement for open access publishing with Frontiers. The TiHo supports its researchers in making their research free and openly available. As part of this support, the new agreement with Frontiers will further encourage TiHo researchers to publish open access at reduced costs and under a streamlined central invoicing process.  Eligible TiHo authors may benefit from a 7.5% membership discount in any Frontiers journal, which could be combined with any other applicable discounts, waivers and similar support schemes personally obtained by the authors. Information for TiHo researchers  If you are an eligible TiHo researcher, please select “University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover (TiHo)” in the payment information section (“Frontiers institutional members”) when submitting your article. Frontiers will verify your eligibility with the TiHo Library and, if confirmed, apply the discount on the article processing charges (APCs). International Year of Basic Sciences takes center stage on sustainability in partnership with Frontiers

Hosted by UNESCO in Paris, the International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development (IYBSSD), welcomes leaders from the scientific community from around the world today to its inaugural opening ceremony.  Sponsored by the open access publisher Frontiers, the IYBSSD initiative welcomes leading figures from research institutions, governments, and international unions to discuss the role of basic sciences in addressing the challenges identified by the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The IYBSSD initiative harbours considerable support from the global scientific community. It is regarded as a leading advocate for the universal adoption of open science as an enabler to achieving a sustainable future for people and planet. IYBSSD has the support of 50 international organizations and unions; an international advisory committee of 100 science academies, networks, and learned societies; and 30 Nobel Laureates and Fields Medallists. The initiative is also supported by today’s host, UNESCO. Anglia Ruskin University has joined the Frontiers – JISC national open access deal

We would like to announce that Anglia Ruskin University has joined the national open access deal agreed between Jisc Collections and Frontiers.  This landmark deal provides a simplified and streamlined route to open access publishing for researchers in the UK, who publish 7% of the world’s research. This institutional agreement means that eligible ARU researchers may publish in any Frontiers journal at no cost to them and with a simplified process. Articles may benefit from a 10% membership discount. ARU Library and Research & Innovation Development Office supports its researchers in making their research more widely available. This agreement will further encourage ARU researchers to publish open access, increasing the volume of research openly available. The University of Lincoln has joined the Frontiers – JISC national open access deal

 We are pleased to announce that the University of Lincoln has joined the UK national open access deal agreed between Jisc Collections and Frontiers.  This landmark deal provides a simplified and streamlined route to open access publishing for researchers in the UK. The University of Lincoln supports its researchers in making their research more widely available. As part of this deal, eligible authors may publish in any Frontiers journal with a discount of 10% on Article Processing Charges (APCs) for articles. This agreement will further encourage University of Lincoln researchers to publish open access, increasing the volume of research openly available. Carpenter library of Wake Forest University School of Medicine supports its researchers in making their research more widely available. Brunel University London has joined the national open access deal agreed between Jisc Collections and Frontiers. This landmark deal provides a simplified and streamlined route to open access publishing for researchers in the UK, who publish 7% of the world’s research. By joining the Frontiers – JISC national open access deal, eligible authors from Brunel University London may publish in any Frontiers journal at no cost to them and with a simplified process. Brunel University London will benefit from a streamlined invoicing process, relieving authors of the responsibility of payment.
